@Darkxerox So these guys are from @Angry Andy ‘s 180 tank that he passed on to me. The tank was extremely healthy when we transferred it. So kudos to him. I cracked the sump during the move, so I ended up plumbing an old 30 gallon biocube under it that houses a mated pair of clowns.

I’ve only noticed the explosion of babies in that section of the tank. I’ve given away a few packs at the previous swap and few more in between. I could probably pull out another 80-100.

The main tank has your basic line up of fish and mix of nems. Rose, rainbow and green.

Feeding is heavy.
I use the large bottle of Reef nutrition ROE pretty much daily.
Then I’ll feed another additional time with one of these. Mostly at random no set schedule.
1 2”x3” spirulina mysis
1 2”x3” LRS Reef Frenzy
Or
2 sheets of Nori on either end of the main tank
Or
Zoomeds Spirulina 20 flakes and TDO Pellets

Run my tanks at
1.025
77 degrees.

Filtration is a ton of live rock older than me probably, a 40 breeder sump with a medium size skimmer and 30 gallon biocube plumbed off of the return.

I'm thinking wrasses eat them in the main tank, were there any in there? Also do you have any mechanical filtration in the way of the drain?

Really cool though! Given how expensive they are in the store, I'm sure trades would be really easy here in the club. They do tend to run out of food easily, @FullerReef had a bunch slowly die as they got bigger since they need lots of surface area for film algae.

Zero mechanical. Overflow drains directly to the sump.

Yea that’s why I’m trying to PIF as much as possible.

Starting to think this is the secret, no mechanical filtration in the overflow. Wonder why the skimmer doesn't seem to affect them though. I noticed some babies survive my return pump and into my media reactor even.
