Right now all the dosing is done manually.

I’ve been looking into dosing pumps and am comparing the following models:

then of course there is the Neptune dos. Costing by far the most...

I have the Apex system but I’m. It going to just buy the “dos” because it is made by Neptune systems.

I really can’t see what functionality I don’t get with these cheaper dosing solutions? I mean I can easily use a relay with the apex 6 channel aux inputs/outputs

anyone doing this?

I can’t give an opinion of the other models unfortunately, but I’ve been very happy with my 2 DOS units. They seem quite reliable, accurate, and of course integrate well with the Apex.

Like what you’re thinking. I’d like to hack a Jaebro doser I’m using for supplement dosing in a similar way.

You have any links you can share about 6 channel aux? I’d like to learn more about using it this way.

I have two DOS I’m using for the big lifting (auto water change) and fine tuning (Ca and alk) but happy with cheap doser for supplements (few ml a day).

I run two BRS dosers on a cycle controlled by my Apex. Programming is really easy and they’re bulletproof and cheap compared to other options. Mine are over 10 years old and still run fine. (Most recently after 2 years in storage).

I’m going to be using the Drew’s Dosers, but have my eyes out on a deal on a DOS. Will be nice to save 2 outlets on the apex
