Did they close? I went in there once and they didn’t have any of the parts I needed. ACE hardware near us has a pretty good selection, also have some grey schedule 80 fittings, but there is always something missing. For example right now I need a 1” slip pipe barb adapter and they have threaded but not slip version.

you just have to find the right ones... some brands are like butter.

My ball valve is for sure not like butter haha.
Thanks man, I am No longer restricted to lowes and home depot for plumbing supply. I didn't even think to look for a place like pace supply.

Yeah the close about a year in after moving to their new location on El Camino, following the new build out on San Antonio.

Usually, between ACE and Lowes, I find what I need... but gate valves were what I use to depend on Barron Park for.

For slip barbs, I hit up the Lowes on Wolf. they usually carry those for most sizes. Your alternative though if you don't want to make the drive is a slip to threat adapter then the thread to barb. It's an extra piece that lengthens the assembly but gets the job done. (I am guilty of this often... hah....too lazy to drive on some days)

As you can see the previous owner had the sump plumbed into his garage. I still have a lot of left over pvc.

Sadly I'm not able to use that sump. It's 48×20×20. I'm using a trigger 36 I got from @Krak256

Leak test complete. No leaks!!! I just scrapped and cleaned the tank. I'm going to start filling the tank tomorrow.

It's full of water. The Apex is installed. The live rock from the previous owner is thrown in. I will work on aquascape later.

I think it looks pretty ok. The right side of tank is reserved for the rockscape that's in my 40 right now.
