This came with a mightjet dc return pump. I think it's max is 538 gph. Anyone have any experience with those? I was thinking of throwing a vectra s2 back there.

I don't have any experience with the DC maxi Jett. I would fell better running two of the maxi jett pumps over an S2 that's overkill.

If anyone's interested in trying it and wants to pay for the filament (it uses up almost an entire roll), I'll print one or two before the next swap.

Another random idea: get a second test kit to check your alk. Maybe the reagents went bad (I'm not sure how you're measuring).

What's your pH like, if you're measuring that.

I got a huge chunk (compared to tank volume) of live rock from @Blaise006 the other day. It's been wet for 5 years.
