Explain your forum nickname and your avatar!

I originally started using the username for computer BBS systems in 1983 and have stuck with it since then. It's based on an old Canadian late night sketch comedy TV show, "Dr. Bundolo's Pandemonium Medicine Show". For reasons unknown to me they sometimes spelled it Bundolo, sometimes Bondolo. I chose the uncapitialized "bondolo".

My avatar is just a picture of me. My preferred version is an animated gif but this site, like most, doesn't allow animated avatar pictures.

:lol: I ditched my old 80's BBS handle :lol: It ditched it when I ditched modems. GAWD 300 baud is sloooooow

Avatar: I change it a lot, but right now it's of my female SA Fancy Ocellaris.

JAR has a double meaning.
1. My initials
2. A glass container

Avatar is a pic of me and my Blue Spot Jaw fish that out grew my tank so I ate him.

Nice thread BTW. I have always wondered about some of those names and now I know how to pronounce Houser. :D

Well they sometimes have blue spots, and they sure do have jaws... but I think that is a lingcod :lol:

Well they sometimes have blue spots, and they sure do have jaws... but I think that is a lingcod :lol:

My screen name is what I like to do on my surfboard, although around here you don't get many opportunities to get tube time unless your willing to loose body parts.

My avatar is Ricky from Trailer Park Boys, my favorite TV show.
 
Gimmito-pronunced Gee-mee-toe. A nickname my mum gave me as a kid or as Gresham calls me "Lil Google." :p

No avatar. I tried downloading a cool shot of the jellyfish tank at The Steinhart, but it was too big.

The answer for both is I'm antisocial and incredibly lazy.

Also my grandfather was a missionary and I grew up in a cult so now that I live a rational thinking adult life I like to state that clearly.
