Was chatting with my buddy Derek.

Derek. Man I wish I could build an extruded aluminum stand for my frag tank ?

Me. Yeah ??? It’s easy. Hummmm I got some scraps in my garage.

Derek. You do ?

Me. Yeah. Challenge ?

Derek. Build it.

Me. Challenge excepted.

The conversation didn’t really go like that. But it did in my head. Lol.
Enjoy the pics.

I want to do something like this for my next project. I wanted to do it for the frag tank but was a little scared so I went with wood instead. Were the pieces already cut to size or how did you cut them?

I cut them. But yeah. You can order them cut. They measure by the mm. I built it on the cheap. The aluminum is fairly cheap. It’s the brackets and fasteners that are expensive. Adds up super quick

What did you use to cut them?

@derek_SR. I built it for Derek. He wanted to use a plywood top to match this DT. It’s going to sit next to his DT. So he will have a matched set.
