Favorite step stool or stepladder?

Since I have a big boy tank now and I'm height challenged, I was wondering what people are using for stepladders on their tanks (and kitchens)? Pluses for ones that are salt resistant and fold easily but really sturdy. Price is flexible too if really high quality.

I have a cheap plastics foot stool and a standard home depot style 6ft Aluminum folding ladder.

My short height and not long enough arms means i still can't touch bottom of the tank with it top of the stand even with the ladder. I have to use tongs or grabbers. I can probably reach 6 inches from the bottom.

This is what you want, and what I use. WAY more stable than the crappy common narrow ones, doesn’t rust, and most importantly you can set it front of your tank and move back and forth to access the whole tank without moving the stool, like scaffolding:

Oh and the legs fold so you can hang it on the wall in your garage or whatever. I use mine all the time around the house. They’re awesome.

Lots of options with pros and cons.

Since you have a rimless tank, a stepladder with a bucket (yellow thing) to keep tools and frags on is handy. I have and use this step ladder for general housework too and the bucket is very useful.

If a bucket isn't needed, a work platform is nice so that you don't have to keep moving the stepladder side to side. My tank is in the dining area which has a dining bench, so similar to the work platform. I use this to do my maintenance

Sheetrock stilts are adjustable ! Lol
Just need a snorkle for when he falls into the tank and all good than.

I knew I could count on everyone having opinions on this lol. Appreciate all the options and I want to hear more!

I vote for something like this. Gorilla, little giant, etc…. They are stable, have a work tray to hold things and most importantly for me, something to lean against. My tank height is 65” from the ground, this one allows me to reach the bottom, though I do have longs arms.

The platform ones are cool for simplicity sake. But I don’t find them as stable and you’re limited to a fixed height.

Those stilts make a great Halloween accessories!
So I use two types depending on how long Im going to be up leaning over deep into the tank! For fairly quick tasks I just grab a 5-6 foot step stoole ladder nothing special. If rearanging/ cleaning/ fish hunting I use the adjustable platform type that matches roughly the tank lenth so I dont step off chassing a fish or space for buckets/ plastic bins etc..
Sometimes you think it will be a quick dive but then start playing chess with corals and rocks start feeling it in your back then relize youve been twisted on that ladder for 30 min lol..Thats the issue with ladders/ stools they gota be sideways to get next to the tank which forces you to be twisted or half off the step!!

Any step ladder with deep steps to get two feet comfortable. This Costco one has held up for years.. Ironically fish just now tore off the mesh food pouch and we're fetching it all over the tank lol so put the step stool to quick use!! Guess gota zip tie the pouches now!
