Filter sock size

My AIO came with a filter sock holder for (2) 2.75" filter socks, but there's enough room to fit one 4" filter sock holder instead. Any thoughts on which would be better, one 4" sock or two 2.75" socks?

I say socks, but only when you're storming the tank or scrubbing down algae off surfaces, then pull it after an hour.

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't like cold feet...that's why I use socks...lol.
