Searching is right! I have to find an actual printed picture from roughly 2002 of a custom made 65g planted tank that used halogen spot lights for lighting haha. Might have it on my pic smh.

So that inspired me to dig through some ANCIENT photos, trying to find my first tank.
I sort-of of did.
This is from about 1975.
You can just see the tank in the corner.
Plus some goofy kid. Ignore him.

Had an awesome Black Arowana that I took from 1.5” with yolk sac to 14” in just over 1 year — moved just before I was gonna build a plywood aquarium for him. Gave him away to someone on Monster Fish Keepers from my days in Massachusetts.

Breeding Apistogramma from 2011-13

I always felt like I gave apistogtamma short shrift. Always loved them but never gave them the attention they deserved.

1988 I think with orandas. Converted to fowlr in about 1996. Reef in 2000. Yellow tang showed up around 1997 and still going strong!

I sold the 60 gallon one last year because I couldn’t manage that many tanks!
I still have the small low tech 10 gallons with yellow shrimp though.

My first fish as an adult who got be into fish keeping, JoJo the goldfish’s setup while I was in college. He passed this year but he got to live in a 1500G hand dug koi pond all the way from a 3G pet smart cube without declorinator.
