N 400 only takes about 24 hrs to fully harden. Doesn't need to be soaked in freshwater to "cure" like Portland cement does. It's safe to go in tank. How long do these need to be cured

You said concrete so i assumed regular concrete not n400N 400 only takes about 24 hrs to fully harden. Doesn't need to be soaked in freshwater to "cure" like Portland cement does. It's safe to go in tank.
I did say concrete, which N400 is not. My mistake. You said concrete so i assumed regular concrete not n400
Thank you i appreciate your time and effort
Right so do you cure the concrete in fresh water for a couple days or just directly into your tankI did say concrete, which N400 is not. My mistake.
Its just a thick cement powder that can cure underwater and doesn't have any toxins.
Portland cement and white cement need to be soaked in freshwater or it will affect ph in a reef tank.Right so do you cure the concrete in fresh water for a couple days or just directly into your tank
Oh ok got youPortland cement and white cement need to be soaked in freshwater or it will affect ph in a reef tank.
N 400 doesn't need to soak, it's fine to go straight in. It's commonly used for aquascaping rocks together.
Yeah, that's the problem. Cement is a vague product term. All 3 are cement.Oh ok got you
So used the wrong word you really just meant n400 and not concrete
Did you try adding some agronite sand to the n400 maybe to bring the cost per plug downYeah, that's the problem. Cement is a vague product term. All 3 are cement.
N 400 is just one of a bunch of specialty formula cements that MasterEmaco makes.
How muchI do use different kinds depending on use. Fine grain for frag plugs and coarse sand for discs/tiles.
Thank you i really appreciate your timeThe fine sand doesn't really affect strength at all. The coarse sand actually increases strength of the material, it's not just a filler.
