I hope everyone enjoyed the event today. It was great to see what peoples' faces looked like, put new faces to usernames, meet new members, and get re-acquainted with old timers. From my perspective, I think it was a success...and it was great to see a lot of corals to frag. Hopefully, everyone learned something new and left with their fill of corals to take home. While we did talk a fair bit about dipping and what to dip with, we didn't spend much time actually doing the dipping. So, if it's not quite clear to anyone...just shout out.
Thanks Will for opening your house to this event, the food table and hospitality. As a new member to BAR I greatly appreciated the opportunity to put online handles to faces and talk tank talk and learn what people do as full time professions as well as hobbies.

The number of frags far exceeded the number of attendees (secret thing) and I’m enjoying my miyagi tort, surprise photosynthetic purple sponge and surprise Calacali frags. Awesome!

Looking forward to meeting even more members and getting to know reefers in person.

PS once I understand more how BARCode works I’ll start registering duplicate corals I have to frag/share with members.

PPS thanks again to whomever brought the inland band saw cuz there is no better way to frag acans. Will take pictures next time.

I didn’t take pics of the event (sorry) but with Wills permission took some pictures of his main tank cuz he generously fragged some main colonies for the event: m.spongodes, copps calacali acro and Chili Pepper aka Christmas Tree montipora

Wanted to say Thank You so much! Had a great time getting to know everyone. The amount of information shared was awesome! Its nice to have such a valuable resource, be able to ask questions and get input from those that have been reefing for so many years. Looking forward to the upcoming frag swap!

Here are a few photo's, enjoy!

Bummed I missed this event. Unfortunately, my son's B day was the priority and he is not that into the corals just yet. Next time. Sounds like it was a very good time.

That was a great event. It was really good to continue associating faces with names since this was only my second event (+1 zoom) I have been around for. The knowledge and generosity of this club is amazing, I'm really happy to be a part of it. This was the first time I've tried fragging anything and it was a great confidence booster to something I've been worried to do correctly.

Speaking of Zoom, thoughts on having one more before the frag swap?
