Some fun sculptures / formations. Some just general rock.
Most are created mixing two part epoxy with sand, and using that to glue together larger pieces.
Much better than using concrete.

The right two are large, but have pins so they can be taken apart into two pieces.

WARNING: You WILL need to soak these before using. They were just pulled out with algae on them.

Kayak for scale.

Pick up in Union City, near 880/Dumbarton.

Thank you for making these available! I was mainly interested in the 2nd to the left most side rock and 3-4 of the smaller middle pieces, looking to add it to a 50 gal and 20 gal lagoon.

Why is your way better than cement?
Because cement messes with the water chemistry. Epoxy is just plastic.
Also, the hydraulic cement used cures very fast, so there is a temptation to mix it a bit wet. If you do that, it disintegrates over a couple of years.

Interesting. Hasn’t been my experience. Haven’t used epoxy. Always seems annoying to use.

To be clear, I mean good two part west system epoxy, like used for boats. Not the crud you get at the fish store.

I actually did have an alk bump for a few months while curing new pieces. Figured out it was the cement after hearing that's what went on at the Steinhart too early on in their Philippine tank. Found it to be a nice feature since I didn't need to dose bicarb.
