Just wanted to get this Journal started. I got my first fish tank in 2020. It was a covid project but I had been researching and watching a ton of Youtube videos for about 2 years before that. It started as a fish only tank for a Porcupine Puffer. That's why I went with a 5' tank for my first tank. Also, it was going to be a Hawaiian theme tank. I thought I had a fun and exciting fish list and then the Hawaiian ban went through right when I first starting buying fish. I remember that my $40 dollar, projected Yellow Tang, jumped up to $80 the day after the ban became official. So, I pulled the trigger and bought the tang out of order. I got one of the last wild caught Yellow Tangs and had to make some changes to my fish stocking list. I tried QT at the start but ended up having more fish die in QT than I ever have in my four years. I'll get photos posted soon.
