Anyone know?
AlsoI know they come out at night but I can't find them.
Also, will they eat medium to large size aiptasia? ie 2cm diameter.

I see populations dwindle about 2-3 weeks after the last aptasia.

Hard to be sure because I have no way to tell when the last egg hatched.

With truly nothing to eat, maybe a week. Less for juveniles. In a real tank with rock it’s hard to tell when the last hidden Aiptasia is completely eaten.

And yes, they definitely eat the large Aiptasia.
So if the large aiptasia are still present, does that mean the berghia aren't starving? They just are not desperate enough for them to eat the large one?

Yes, that would be how I’d interpret it. They generally eat the smaller and more hidden ones first (ie the ones you don’t see).

It might also mean that they've all been scavenged by amphipods or other predators.
