mann Hiep youve been having the worst of luck bro..first an algae attack now hydroids..i found this link about raising the pH and killing em off...i havnt tried it because i havnt, and hopefully wont, encounter them..HTH

I have some of those brown suckers, unsure if they're the same species, but man I notice them now in other places, I keep telling myself, one of these days I'm pulling the rock and chip that corner off!
I have had luck with squirting a big concentration of kalk paste right on them, they haven't grown back from where the glob was, however the surrounding area still was "contaminated"
