Neptune Aquatics

I Need to Clean House... er Garage - Large Tanks, Halides, Stands

I have a couple Deep Sea Aquatics tanks with overflows - one is a 120, one is a custom 30" wide x 60" long x 24" tall, both starfire glass with stands. The 120 has a slight, non-structural glass shaving off the end of one of the side pieces. The custom has a furniture-grade stand and some halides + VHOs, only ever used for about 6 months, but they've been in a garage for a long while and will need TLC. I've got to clear them out of my garage, so first one to come pick one or both up gets them.

Where are you located? Any pictures?

Still too small! Maybe if you put a tube in-between them lol.

If only you posted a few weeks ago @rocketmandb , I just bought a tank that size. Very generous of you.
Just buy or make an aqua bridge to connect the two! Then the clown can take a walk.. But then they would really be begging!!

lol. Those must be a pain to clean, but still a neat concept
In theory it would work but you would have to vacum the air out of it, for water to fill it. Could I do that possibly if i was single. Could i show up with two more huge tanks if I was single. Could I show up with another tank without getting rid of 3 other ones first if I was single. Clearly there is a pattern emerging lol.

I have been given permission to do what ever i want and go fish tank crazy in my garage. It's large enough for probably 4 - 5 reef store coral flats. Yet the issue is it's packed with shelving and all my catering/ cooking gear. So it's been put to me if I got rid of every other tank inside the actual house I could possibly get a bigger tank or get a storage for my catering gear and i could use the garage.

So to suggest a fish tank bridge i would need one that goes from the back seat to the front seat of my car when i get put out.

So it sounds like your getting a bigger tank?

I Can't afford a storage at a monthly rate, and my catering gear comes first. So garage is outta reach for a while until i can shift things around a lot in it. The gear needs to be accessible when it's needed so can't just make a pile on one side. But i could definitely get rid of the 3 tanks in my living room for one bigger one. And squeeze the frag tank into garage.

Eventually ill figure out how to shift stuff around to be able to use the garage though. Call it my long term take over the world type of secret plan.

I'd be careful with tanks in the garage with all the cooking gear. There's a lot of humidity generated by large tanks in the garage (especially in the summer) and things will rust if you don't have an exhaust fan set up or a dehumidifier.

I have saltwater reservoirs and ATOs in my garage and also my bikes and tools. +1 everything gets rusted to shit. Definitely be careful with anything that's your livelihood.

Is that first pic for real???
Lol the one with the bridge going across the entire room is a strech, I think. But a bridge would be possible with science. Remove air from the bridge so water replaces it.

A power outage though i image all kinds of issues possibly flooding the house.

Definitely a awesome idea though.
