This is my cousin’s tank, Trieu. IM 25g Lagoon with hydra26 light. My cousin is 15year old and I’m getting him into the hobby. Bought most of the expensive stuff for him used but effective. The tank is sand less for easier maintenance. Using makeshift hydra mount . Bacteria was added yesterday. Now the waiting game. Rocks are dry rock. Started cycle with bottle of biospira and one piece of shrimp.

Add some livestock yesterday 12/10/22. Results today. Corals in testing, bta from @richiev , thanks so much!!, one green mushroom and one zoa frag. So far so good. Testers seem to be open and fine, will keep close monitor. Looks good so far will add fish Tuesday. One or pair of clownfish.

pair of clownfish add today. Eating good and healthy, bought at Clearwater Aquarium. Bta found a place to settle in hopefully it will stay there.

Update
Mexican turbo snails, emerald crab,astrea , and trochus did work. They clear all the hair algae in the tank. I think Mexican turbo snail did all the hard work. Looks well cycled now everything open. Amazing 2 months and 2 weeks in now.
