Interesting filter / toilet paper dispenser

It slowly replaces filter material over time.
Anyone try it?

But .. it totally looks like a toilet paper dispenser.
And a rather expensive one at that.

Yeah, $400 is WAY overpriced.
I know the volumes are low so you need margins, but sales will be close to zero.
Tempting to buy the fleece roll though, and DIY-up a roller.

I think this is a cool technology and I'm psyched to see it get to production after seeing the prototypes at MACNA two years ago.

I'm also amazed at the $400 price tag, considering I bought 10 filter socks for $50 I'll gladly stick to changing my filter socks once a week and laundering them every 2-3 months for that amount of money.

However, it seems like a good technology and I hope to see it continue to be developed and the prices drop with an economy of scale if folks start using these.
