Interesting skimmer design, plug n play, no adjustments

Hopefully less than that toilet paper dispenser... Would be nice to see it in use on real reef tank, pulling out gunk.

Hmm. Skeptical.

It seems that air intake would get hopelessly clogged with gunk.
The air intake is in the skimmer neck. Right in the bubbly mess.
It cannot help but pull in the protein residue.
And it looks rather hard to clean that bubble and tube.

So I would like to see that after a few months in a real tank.

also non-adjustable may not be a pro to all of us, many reefers tend to be the "control freak" types who want to skim wet one day and dry the next. I know I'm guilty :D currently skimming on the wet side, changes based on what I'm feeding/dosing and how often

Actually, it might be somewhat adjustable. Could be possible to move the intake point up and down a bit.

Also, it looks like there is a tube keeping the air input port somewhat separate from the main bubble neck, so
gunk buildup may not be so bad after all.

I think you can adjust the water level inside the skimmer. She demonstrates that when she adjusts the float inside.

In case you didn't watch the video, will work in 1" of water and is not affected by changes in external water level.
