Is Nylon reef-safe?

I just 3D printed a random flow generator on an SLS 3D printer in Nylon (PA12).

Is it reef safe?

Yes it’s safe, but nylon is pita to print. My best bet is PETG

I have access to an industrial SLS printer that prints Nylon. So it's all good Thanks!

Yeah I remembered reading an R2R thread that nylon is one of the preferred materials to 3d print for aquarium use, but is notoriously hard to use for typical consumer printers. Nice you have access to such a cool piece of equipment

While nylon is reef safe, it absorbs water. I believe it absorbs more water than acrylic does. When it absorbs water, it also swells.

And it is a PITA to print.
