Leaking Red Sea test kits?

Hi all,

I decided to try the Red Sea foundation test kits after having used Salifert kits for a long time. I ordered one from Amazon and it arrived with some solution having leaked. I was sent a replacement and had the same issue.

Has anyone else had this problem with Red Sea kits? Also the Ca solution looks like it had some floating solids in it. Though using it to test my water, the parameters came in the range I expected.

I was issued a refund after the second time around. I may may try to order from BRS instead, of just go back to the salifert kits if others are seeing this same issue.

I have not had an issue with them leaking. I normally order mine from BRS or Neptune Aquatics.

I have seen the floating white flakes in the solution before a but no issues with the readings when compared to other test kits.

Every red sea kit I've ordered from Amazon has leaked. They will refund your money.

Thanks. Maybe it’s an amazon handling thing. They refunded my money. I’ll try ordering from BRS next time.
