Yeah you go ahead with that plan there Huck Finn That whole skimmer is going to basically fill with water, so you're going to have the buoyancy of the acylic body which last I checked isn't very... Try this, cut some PVC legs and glue them to your eggcrate, this way you know how high your skimmer is exactly and won't have to worry about Archimedes principle
