MH timing

How long do you guys normally leave your metal halide lights on? Mine have been on for about 8 hrs. Cut down to 7 recently. Still too long? Thanks

I've been running mine between 6-7 hours.. I'm not sure if thats right or wrong but thats what I've been doing.. Any longer than 8 or so and I start getting accelerated algae growth on the glass...

Mine are on about 8:30am, off at 7pm (ish).
