Those rhomboids carry a lot bugs but I find formalin is a little too stringent. What % formalin and for how long?
Do you treat prazi or anything else? And if so, what and for how long?

Formalin M/S for 45 minutes works great.

I do prazi 24hrs before transfer 3 and before transfer to main quarantine tank.

Nope 1ml per gallon in bucket for bath for 45 min. After that they go in ttm tank with nitrofuracin green powder for bacterial infection during first ttm.

Nice! How many watts of lighting would you estimate that strip to be, and what do you think is the volume within that reactor?

@euod the Formalin MS is a 37% solution. I think measuring out 1ml/gal is more accurate than 20 drops/gal. Besides, the bottle I got didn't have a dropper spout.

@scuzy, I've never done the green powder but I do the prazipro for the whole 72 hour first ttm round. I notice that my water is always really slimy and gross when it's time to transfer. Have you had problems going this long and that's why you went to only 24hrs?

Humblefish suggested doing 24 hours prior. He said there need is only really active for that long anyways so it's best to do 24 hrs prior to transfer. Repeat after 3 days.
