My Clam Started Spawning

Did a little water change this past weekend and about an hour later this started happening:

What was the date (autumnal equinox) and how old is the clam?
That is a very cool event!

was that all it did? normally it can cloud up your water and then you can have issues....did you do a water change afterwards?

The spawning happened on Oct 1st. I just checked the autumnal equinox and it occurred on Sept. 23rd so I'm not sure if there is a connection.

I've had the clam for about 3 years now and got it as a 2 inch little baby. My clam is all grows up now. I'm gonna have to have the awkward bees and birds talk with it later this week. Its important that the clam know where baby clams come from.

I've seem bristle worms spawn. It happened in my 28g Nano. Just recently saw my stomatella snails spawn two days in a row. The stomatella was the best cause one would send out a cloud of semen and another would send out eggs.

They are easily induced into spawning with numerous parameter changes (as noted he did a water change ;) )
