Our mission

My fish tank

Well then you'd have something to yank on *if* it ever gets out of line :D

Mark,

Curious as to what settings you use for you pics (fstop etc). I seem to be able to get the pictures but never seem to be able to get the pop even with post photo processing.

Are you locking down the mirror as well like Gary suggested Mark?

Manual setting, f/stop for corals is usually around 18-20.

Nope, I have not really tried that yet. Gary is also shooting a full frame camera and 180mm lens. The D90 has a cropped sensor so its a little different from my understanding.

Not sure if you really want to lock down the mirror, unless you have absolutely no movement whatsoever (no water movement, no camera movement).

that's what he suggested (turning off all flow and using a tripod)

Just saw your tank on RC as Tank of the Month so a big congratulations! Man you have a beautiful setup. Hope to be able to see it in person someday.

Congrats. It's the right timing, too bad my regal is not in the pics. Lol. Can't wait to see that regal in your tank. Congrats on that regal, too.
