It’s been a long fricken day! Ever transfer a tank and have your main rock structure break on you? Yeah, me too! SMH
Luckily it wasn’t too bad and I kinda like how they stacked in the tank, might not bother trying to bond and fix it.
Well here we are, the Red Sea Reefer is now empty and everything is transferred into the new tank. Everything seems to have acclimated fine. All the corals are still scattered and not really exactly where I want everything, so that’s a-whole-nother day.
Went with a hanging light setup given the eurobrace and the fact I have the tank very close to the wall which I’ll go over later. Now I need to decide on adding a second AP9X, 2 360x’s, 2 XR15’s or just going 3 XR30s and ditch the AP9X..
Going a different route than than the MP10s, was thinking MP40s but like I mentioned, poor planning occurred and I didn’t leave enough space behind the tank to fit them literally only gave myself an inch of space back there. Haha I don’t want pumps on the sides. So I’m thinking maybe a pair of Sicce x-stream sdc pumps or Tunze 6105s. Really didn’t want cables inside the tank, that’s part of the reason I’ll be running a closed loop in conjunction with an open return.
Red Sea tank and equipment will be cleaned and soon posted.
