My new toy

The last stand took me 6 months to finish but this one I will try to get it done fast. I'm running out of space in the garage with these stuff in there. Gotta clean them up and get more junks ;D ...

I think homemade stand are a lot stronger than the one you buy at the fish store. You can park an SUV on the last stand I made. It's not as nice as the one I bought from AG but it's a lot stronger.
 
i have not fear of the stand failing in my case. it just has to look good. thats what i'm worried about. i know how to skinn it and trim the sides and top. but the doors and canopy escape me right now.

Nothing to see really, I went for a minimalist POV
6 - 2x4's, stained cherry
It took me a few hours to build, but the stain took
forever since I was building it in the middle of November :D

No canopy, I use a Tek T5 fixture instead.
 
Here is the old one that I made. I still haven't made the door for it yet :D ..
