I get the secret plan 500s gallon split between several different tanks lol. Which may or may not count the sump's water volume in the equation.Broooo... that tank is staying for more floor space in the tank room!
Nice!!!Broooo... that tank is staying for more floor space in the tank room!
What skimmer again? Could be too big for the bio load
Thanks for the responses gents.Or sump water level is too high.
I never had to mess with the pump speed. I kept it on 1 and just messed with the air. Thanks for the responses gents.
I picked up a used Reef Rythm RR-150 from @Srt4eric
I have messed with multiple pump speed settings and also the air intake. It's definitely closer than I was a couple weeks ago. I currently can go a couple days before we empty the cup. I'll get a picture of what it looks like before we empty. A couple times it was overflowing with dense bubbles that wouldn't break, filling the cup.
I have the skimmer on a stand because the default water level was too high. With the stand, the skimmer is now slightly above the recommended manufacturer height. I did message Reef Breeders and they said going lower on the skimmer is fine. So I haven't made any adjustments to the stand. Just trying to dial it with pump speed and air intake.
I currently have it on 4. Did you have it right at the 6.5" mark as they recommended? Or higher?I never had to mess with the pump speed. I kept it on 1 and just messed with the air.
