Nem removal

Been off BAR due deadlines... but have a moment briefly.

Few way to remove the nem, depending on how permanent your rock work is:

1) use flat part of zip tie to unstick the foot.. gentle and usually doesn't tear anything

2) use the tube but shine light perpendicularly to the opening. Reason is you want nem to crave light, not just stretch for more

3) throw the rock and nem into a bucket. Use ice in bag and lower temp by 10F. Nem will hop off and float. Done.

Experiment failed. She stretched out between the cup and rocks but her foot stayed firmly planted in the same crevice.

I think that it would work if the cup could close all those gaps. I’m going to add a strip of foam to the cup and try again.

Tada! Lifted the cup out and the nem’s foot was in it, so we gently transferred her to her forever tank.

Now, I have an entire rock to cover with sticks
