i got one frag of this available

rulez

must have nutrients for this algae
must give one frag back before trading/selling

this is a calcerous algae and can go sexual if not enough nutrients are available in tank

Not sure what is the requirement for this guy but the piece you gave me isn't happy. It's dying very slowly :( ..

yeah, all mines were dying off too. i yanked the few that were left. they eventually grew new patches over where the old were. the ones i have tossed on the sand bed have turned into new sand for me hehe

I've always liked the look of this stuff. If the requirements are light, Ca and NO3, then I've got the bases covered.

Neomeris. Really? This is the reason I ended up tearing down my first super old (and neglected) reef tank which became an algae tank. This macro looks so cool but it is invasive, man. I have no idea how it ever got in my tank. I read threads online of people trying to eradicate it by cooking rock with acid and it came back. I currently have some still in a temporary clownfish tank. It is on rock that I think also has valonia. In the near future I hope to move the clowns into my big tank and at that point you are welcome to the neomeris rock. You may want to look into it more, though.
