New Deepwater Aquatic DC pump

Anyone know anything about these??

At first I thought they were yet another re-branded Jebao.
But they look pretty different, and seem to have a metal case for external use.
They also claim some other improvements.
They also have some different larger sizes.

On the other hand, they have the same looking controller, and same BSP versus NPT thread problem.

I am personally very interested, since I have been looking to replace my external pumps and save power.

Are these external pumps? I searched for the word external on the page and didn't find it.

Matt at Cali Reef Co is using the Jebao pump as a submerged return pump for the big display tank in the front. I think he likes em. The lil controller is neat.

A quote from them:
"Where the Deepwater Aquatics BLDC pump stands out is an all metal body construction for better heat dissipation, especially when used in an externally plumbed application, something which is not recommended for Jebao pumps."

I have used an internal Jebao for about a year or so on my algae scrubber, and I like it really well also.
Just worried about reliability, and it is not for external use.
