My name is Mark and I am new to the forum and also new to reef aquariums. I live in Manteca. Just bought a new to me 120 gallon reef ready tank. I think I know where to begin, but don't want to just jump in and throw a bunch of money into it. I know I want to have a mixed reef tank with corals and fish, and I know I want a sump/refugium. I haven't purchased the sump yet. I am hopeful that this site/forum will be able to help. I have been researching as much as I can, but if someone has already experienced a 120 build, I would really appreciate any pointers.

Thanks! I really look forward to learning and sharing my experience with this first reef tank.

Welcome! Does your tank already come with a stand? You will learn a lot by reading some tank threads, as Jon suggested. This is a great club, and you should mark your calendar for the BAYMAC event in May.
