Looks like a lot of folks memberships ran out over the holidays and end of the year. Unfortunately, the website doesn't alert you so many people don't notice that they have reverted to guest status. I noticed a few regulars already this week that were now second-class citizens.

hopefully we get a reminder message, like a month before expiration
so that there are no lapses
to avoid any future confusion...especially on my part

and perhaps there could be a payment option for lifetime membership?

I got an alert (the same kind that tells you that someone replied to your comment) that let me know it expired. I intentionally waited a week until the 1st to renew.

Seems there are a few that do, but most do not. I never get one.
