PVC sheets locally ???

Looking for some PVC sheeting for a new project on the horizon, tried online but shipping of 4x8' sheet will cost $150 then another $50 ontop of that because I'm a residential address (don't get that personally...), most likely this is because 1 sheet takes almost as much effort to transport as 50 sheets, so I don't blame the company. However this would increase the cost 60% just for the shipping. Looked at Tap's online site, they only have 1/4" and I really would like to get my hands on 3/4" at least, haven't tried the store but will when I get some time. Just curious if anyone else had any leads on potential locations?

Call TAP and see what they say. I picked up some 1/8 scraps the other day so they have some stuff on hand but don't know about 3/4" thick.

I'll do that, I was at Tap the other day getting some "patching my old tank" supplies, however looking through the scrap bin I've come to the conclusion I can't tell the difference between HDPE and PVC, as the guy at the counter said what I picked out was not PVC... unfortunately he seemed a little too irritated to show me what would be PVC, so I left it at that and got my stuff and went home.

Were you at the El Cerrito store? There's one guy there who I find particularly unhelpful. It's like pulling teeth to get him to give you more than a grunt and a yes/no answer.

Nah, San Francisco store, but who knows maybe he transferred.

Guy in Texas mentioned getting a 4'x4' @ 1' thick for $110 at a local place... Tap is so damn expensive, you'd think they'd be a bit cheaper considering they specialize in plastics.
