Python water changer hose type

Does anyone know what type of hose the python water changer uses? It's softer than normal vinyl tubing. I would like to use it for a different application without having to buy all the fittings with it...

Best tubing I've found bar none for anything is the Excelon stuff. I haven't found a better price than from this place even with the shipping.

I bought this and still have a bunch that I never used but the thickness of the tube wall is thinner than the Python tubing. Just as flexible and works but kinks easily.

Pretty sure this is the better option

Is this the same stuff I got from you?

I believe the python is 1/2" x 5/8" as well. So you're saying that one you posted, in same size, kinks easier than python?

Right. The 1/16” wall is definitely thinner than the Python tubing. I’m not going to use the 50’ I bought unless a raccoon chews up my python. Shame since it wasn’t cheap. You can see the difference side by side. The Python tubing is thicker.

Which made me me want to know so I cut an inch off the Python to really get a good measurement off a fresh cut. The below size is what I got with my digital calipers.
