Question about Apex probe replacement

I will readily admit I am not very tech savvy. When it comes to the Apex if I need to replace a probe do I just unplug the old one and place the new one? I don't have to remove it from the app first and the replace it or anything like that? I just don't want to screw up the device or complicate things. When I first set up it I had issues with it recognizing to eb38's instead of one.

Just plug the new one in after unplugging the old one. No need to remove from software. You will need to calibrate the probe if it's a pH or Salinity probe.
