Recommendation for MP size?

Well,
The waterbox 180 is coming along. It has two return outlets but I’m looking to create more current. The tank is 5ft long. Wondering about using two MP 40’s vs 60’s? I was thinking of opposite ends of the tank.

Any thoughts on size and location to
Place them?

Unless you're going no sand and 100% SPS I think MP60s will be too big.

You should pull a @Coral reefer and put 7 on the back wall!!!

I used to run MP40s on my Reefer 525xl that was 5’ long. Worked great.

You could get away with 2 mp40. I'll have a 6 footer and plan to use 4 mp40.

Mp60 is big and will stick out. Taking too much real estate

Only reason I say no mp60 is because they are louder than mp40

Should I put them at opposite corners of the tank to start? Or same side?

Opposite ends, pointing at each other. You may want a gyre or 2 at the top too.
