Looks almost done to me! The stand is the worst of it really.
Karson and Joe need to be given the credit for the stand. I'm still waiting on some equipment, one thing I ordered the Renew have been sitting on a Fedex truck for over a week. For some reason its just not being delivered.

Looks like a great spot for the tank, that’s gonna look awesome all set up. The stands definitely a pain in the ass but it seems the one upside to Red Sea’s proprietary parts and systems is that it’s hard to confuse where what goes. Good luck setting it up! Stoked to see this evolve
Yes, I recently remodeled my whole office and had that closet next to it built to accommodate some equipment. I have a floor sink and a couple of hose bibs in the closet. It will hold my mixing station and the Genesis reef systems Renew AWC. I may also be putting my calcium reactor and maybe even a QT tank in the closet.

Question to what kind of biomedia people are using in the sump? What does everyone recommend?

Hi Mario, yes I am finally getting it up again. I read about possible issues with aluminum? Anyone have that experience?

Marine pure can be a little crumbly. I don’t think the aluminum thing is a concern to be honest.

niiiice. Welcome to the 650 club.
Thanks, we got the tank leveled and lights hung. I am waiting on a couple of shorter and one longer power cord for the lights. I also got the mixing tubs plumbed.

Slowly getting it going. I need to zip tie the cords to the hanging wires but I am waiting still for a longer cord for the noopsyche light.

Working on installing the genesis reef systems renew system.

I'm a big fannof MarineaPure. If you're sump space allows, the 8x8x4 blocks are great! They are thick enough to have an effective anaerobic zone to denitrify... unless you hate the idea of less water change.

I would start with a single block. I have 2 in one of my system (cuz i needed a skimmer stand using one of them... hah!) and my nitrates are 0 so i wind up having to dose nitrates.

The marine pure balls work as well but probably doesn't do much on denitrification. I use both on my tanks.

If you read online, ppl will say that marinepure can leach aluminum. But, reports are inconsistent...2 test from the same tank via Triton can give a positive then a negative. But that said, I've never noticed any negative impacts to my system after all these years.
