Just wanted to quick review on these pumps.
Initial setup was a little difficult.
It wouldn't save settings.
After firmware updates, they have been working flawlessly.
I've had them for 5 months and cleaned them 3 times.
The first two were quick cleanings of the pump attachments (not sure what they are called).
I soaked them in citric acid and used a soft brush. Super easy and the flow was back to normal. Took probably 30 minutes for both pumps.
The last one was a complete cleaning of the whole pump. I love how everything is detachable. There were a couple hidden aiptasia growing on the back plastic.
They designed it so you could remove the rubber holder and get to it easily to scrub it off.
The main pump unit was also super easy to clean and I just soaked that, scrubbed it and rinsed it well with RO/DI.
The major cleaning took an hour.
Definitely would recommend these pumps, they move a ton of water and are super quiet.
