Reducing heat in garage for frag tank

I'm looking to move my frag tank and QT into the garage but it gets quite hot during the day. For those that have garage tanks, how do you keep the temps low?

My garage does not have any insulation at the moment but I'm not sure it makes sense to insulate the entire garage just for a frag tank...

Evaporative cooling through fans is the most effective way by far. Use a lot of RODI in your reservoir and aim a fan at the surface of the tank for best results.

Currently? Using a 1/8 HP drop-in chiller.

Soon? Using a fan for evaporative cooling.

My garage has no insulation and it gets really hot in there. I have a desk fan bolted to the wall that is plugged into my apex. When tank hits 79 fan turns on. Keeps the tank perfect

If you can, actively airing it out in the evening when it is colder out makes a noticeable difference in keeping it cooler the next day.

+1 for evaporative cooling. Fans aimed at an angle towards the water surface. You want air movement over the surface of the water.

got it, thanks everyone. my concern was that the garage gets to be over 95 degrees at times. will look into just using a fan to chill
