And heat, heat is a major issue with LEDs as well.

Are they going in a canopy? I'd use a fan or two if so. I think one white and one blue will be close to what your used to. Maybe a bit more light

Set up the new 45g tank!
Installed 2 36" 50/50 and 1 36" actinic blue.
Definitely bluer than my old PC system.
WOW, THESE THINGS ARE BRIGHT. You can't even look right at them without getting spots in your eyes afterwards.
So far, I'm quite impressed with this product.

Now all I need to do is figure out my skimmer situation. My old Remora HOB skimmer doesn't seem to work well in the sump. Doesn't stand up quite straight enough. Thinking about a bubble magus cone 3.5.

Not sure on size of your sump etc...but I just setup an octopus nw 150 cone and I am rather happy!

My sump is an EShopps RS-75.

Ended up getting reef dynamics ins80. A bit loud pump, but produces great foam.
