Reef Mat Compatibility (IM NUVO RFS-27)

Greetings all - anyone have any experience with or know if the Red Sea reef mat (or any reef mat system) can be easily integrated into the IM RFS-27 sump?

You might be able to fit a Reefmat 500 if you hang it on the left divider wall. You won’t have room for a skimmer tho.

Depending on total size of system can you step down to 250?

Really want to try the reef mat but not at the price of losing a skimmer. Thx for input
