i like all the open sand! whats the greencoral on the bottom right?
It's a little Nephia - sick and retracted. For some reason it was staying in my tank for 2 years and didn't grow at all.

It's been quiet for a little while - the corals slowly growing and recovering. I kept tracking params and was setting up dosing schedule - so far the I dosed 20 ml Alk/16 CA/2ml NOPOX.
Alk was more-less stable, CA dropped from from 450 to 400. New dosing is 20 ALK/CA and 2 NOPOX.
The surprising part is that NO3/PO3 dropped significantly - Hanna PO checker showed 0 today, and NO3 - 0.75 ppm. Should I stop NOPOX or it's not a concern so far? 2ml/day is nothing - less than 1/3 of recommended dose and skimmer is full of smelly wet skim.

Those very low NO3 and PO4 values are concerning, unless you are feeding a lot.

I'm feeding a lot - reduced NOPOX to symbolic 1ml/day. Need more lifestock! :)

Oh nice! Well I’m due for an upgrade lol. Do you also use an app or filter?

Yes, I use Snapseed editor - it's really nice app with lots of manual settings. But before taking pictures I change light color to 8000k or lower, otherwise the blue hue is hard to remove.

Agree - most likely psammacora. Will see how it grows - it's not a fuzzy one but more smooth and was very bright.

Looks like I have my first algae outbreak in new tank - cyano. Could be result of dropping nutrients too low at some point - I was dosing NOPOX and nitrates/phosphates was 0 for a little while. I started to feed more and current nutrients looks much better to me:

1ppm nitrates, 0.02 phosphates. Alk is 9, ca 410.

What would you do to cyano? Let it grow or die by itself? Reduce lighting? Blackout? Chemiclean? There are lot of options and I’m not sure which one to choose... In the previous tank I was fighting cyano all the time.
