Sorry you're saying Sched 40 ok to use right if pushing the pump hard. BTW I just got the Jebao MDP-20000 what do you all think to much HP or ?? Arvin brought up so good concerns about the pump being too much but always good to hear different pov.

It probably won’t be too much if you run it no more than around 50%. Sched 40 is fine to use for our applications. I’m just saying 1.5” pvc is probably not worth the extra effort because of the larger pipe diameter makes it harder to work in our tight stand spaces.

Forgot to add is the 2100gph achievable with Sch 40 pipe?

The schedule of pipe has nothing to do with flow rate. It's rated in what the max psi it can handle. Sch 40 can handle 280psi and 80 goes up to 400psi

No hobby pumps even come a 1/4 of the way to it.

So on that note should I get the next pump down which is the 15000 or will this work ?

Your pump is fine. Regardless of what 2" or 1.5" fittings your pump takes you're going to bushing it down to either 1 or 3/4. It's all dependent on how much turn over you want.
