+1 on a short bit of vinyl hose to isolate vibration.
You can also tightly zip-tie a decent sized rock to it, to dampen vibration.
Connect it up where pipe exits, not pump sitting on the rock.
Rock cannot touch tank sides.
If you’re trying to make it as efficient as possible, I find barb fittings narrow the lumen significantly and increase head pressure right as the flow is exiting the pump. If you can reduce noise without barb fittings that would be ideal.
