Shout-out to River City Aquatics (RCA) for great customer service.
In December I ordered a mushroom coral during that nasty cold snap. They shipped Next Day Air, but UPS had a truck break down and the box got delayed on the truck. When it arrived, the mushroom was gone—only the foot was left.
I called RCA immediately and they offered a replacement right away, suggested waiting a week for temps to come up, and even let me choose from a few “pick of the litter” mushrooms (including some not listed on their website). Packaging was solid (insulated cooler + heat packs), but extreme cold + delay is just brutal.
They handled it perfectly. Highly recommend RCA.River City Aquatics
FYI: The foot recovered since Dec and is not about the size of a dime.
This is it. Lot of gray cotton looking stuff and it shrank down to a nub.
