He has a "basement" and it's mounted to a concrete wall at the bottom of those stairs. Yes his entire rodi system is concrete anchored to his wall.Did you mean mount with screws into concrete ?
The one you postedDo you have the one I posted or the RO buddy?
What’s the benefit of having it on a smart plug?@Srt4eric helped me install it into the concrete on my house. 60psi before and 90 after. Got it on a Hydros smart plug too.
Turn it on and off. What’s the benefit of having it on a smart plug?
Ohhh that was a dumb question. I thought it was always just on and it would turn “on” once it sensed pressure of water being made. Didn’t realize you had to turn it off/on when making waterTurn it on and off.
Some have pressure switches that turn them off and on. The one I have, I have never gotten the pressure switch to do anything.Ohhh that was a dumb question. My auto shut off only works if I’m making water near my RODI. If I try running my tubing to my room it won’t turn off, I think because it travels a long distance so never builds up enough pressureSome have pressure switches that turn them off and on. yeah, mounted to a cement wall will definitely dampers it. Try mounting it to a rocked interior wall...FWIW I can't hear it at all in the basement, so it could be a vibration management thing. I think it has rubber feet.
