RODI System Not Making Water - Can’t figure it out

I don’t even understand why there’s a CHeck valve?

I have mine set up for drinking water with a pressurized cylinder. It could be so that in my situation it doesn’t push the water back into the membrane. I don’t know for sure. Just a guess.
