I’ve never tried it but I’ve heard of people making it worse in their attempt.
I’m stoked. Just not sure how long I will have to wait for my seal kit to come in. I learned my lesson with the 250. Replace the plumbing seals after removing them.
No leaks from the overflow last night. Starting to make RO water. Going to have to get to HD so I can hook up my return pump
you should switch out the diaphragm valve with a gate valve since you’re setting up everything and it’s dry. Diaphragm valve eventually gets fickle and requires adjusting all the time. I was fine for a couple years then it started acting up. You can get the return part (Red Sea part #42221) remove the threaded barb and glue with pvc primer and cement to a 32mm to 1” translation union.
If you can retrofit it to take US plumbing pieces, that might save you a headache or two in the future
Throw a UV in the plumbing while you at it?

If you end up needing another just pet me know. Exciting thread man..cheering for uThrew in the rest of one of my buckets of salt. Probably won’t be quite enough for the whole tank but luckily I have an extra bucket thanks to @ofzakaria
